How to play

Reach the target

Combine any of the eight cards using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Use each physical card at most once.

1. Select a card, choose an operation, then select another card.
2. Combine the resulting expression with cards or other expressions. Use Swap to reverse subtraction or division, and Undo to take back a move.
3. Select your final expression and press Submit solution. It must equal the target exactly.

Fractions and negative intermediate results are allowed. Division by zero, extra constants, and joining card digits are not.

Winning a duel

Both players receive the same cards and target. A correct submission locks your solve time. The lowest adjusted time wins.

Fewer cards break a tie, followed by the earlier finish. Your opponent can continue until their time runs out or they can no longer beat your score. If neither player solves, the result is a draw.

Intermediate values are hidden in duels. You can enable them in practice.
